This is my 1967 Ford Falcon. The car was purchased new by my mother on 5/29/67. I got it in 1974 and have been driving it (beating on it?) since then. I do all the work on the car - engine build, transmission, rear end, suspension, paint, wiring, fabrication - I've basically built the car over a few times. The power comes from a 351C 4V engine with 10.5:1 compression, ported and filled 4V heads, Funnelweb intake, 750DP and a 238 Crane solid flat cam. A set of Eagle H-beam rods, flat top Probe pistons and a neutral balance stock crank hold up the bottom end. Trans is a C4 with a reverse manual valve body with a 4200ish stall 10" Art Carr race converter. A 9" with Richmond 4.56 gears, Mark Williams Masterline axles and a pair of MT 28 - 10.5 x 15 slicks finishes the connection to the track. The car has evolved from a driver to mostly race. It's not the fastest thing at the track, but it goes rounds. Since our local track opened in 2003, I've made about 2500 passes in it. I think the contingency stickers are holding it together now. The car is a winner - 2007 footbrake champ, 2007 over all points champ, Summit Super Series champ 4 times over. The car has run the best of 7.23 @ 94+ in the 1/8 mile at 1700' MSL.
