About my Cougar

This my 1967 Cougar project....A Mountain Lion of Montana!! It so fun to drive....plus this is my daily driver in the summer.  I hope to make this into a 400hp or more street monster!

A little about the Cougar: The GUTZ!!
Original Rebuilt 289
Original Rebuilt Transmission c-4
MSD Ignition System -coil,distributor,6al box, and retard control box
Edelbrock 600 electonic choke
100hp NOS System
Master Power brakes front disc conversion
Swapped out wimpy conventional 8" for a 9" Posi w/ 3.25 gears
B&M Hammer Shifter
Aluminum Radiator
15" Torque thrust wheels

Interior:

98% Original....thats right original. Just had to re-upholster the front seats.  Thanks god becuase there is not a lot of aftermarket stuff out there.  They say they fit a Cougar but don't.

Exterior:

The color is Lime Gold with a 302 Boss racing stripes with out the flares on the hood.  I thought this would look super bad ass on a Cougar.  I had the original bumpers re-chromed and put on some new mirrors.

Future Projects:

Upgrade cylinder heads
New Camshaft
New Water pump
New fan shroud and fan blade
dress up the motor
March pulley kit

Later down the road... pull the NOS and add a supercharger.
