My name is Steve and I live in Australia. Here are some photos of my Mad Max Falcon. It runs a worked 351 Cleavland and features a blower exactly the same as in the movie. It runs 4-wheel disc brakes and is a real buzz to drive! The dashboard has been signed by the cast from the original Mad Max movie and also features some signatures of the stunt-men involved with both Mad Max & Mad Max 2 (you guys will probably know Mad Max 2 as the Road Warrior).
I have just recently taken the car off the road for a major refurbishment. I have installed a RRS notch kit, RRS phase 2 brakes/suspension package, heavy duty front & rear sway bars and completely overhauled the steering. The underbody of the car has been cleaned & body shultzed. The engine bay & underbody have both been coated in high gloss 2-pak black paint as has the fuel tank. The inner guards have also been notched to accommodate the wide front tyres. (ps you guys spell tyres wrong - over here tires means you're getting tired!!!
ha ha!!). I have a new fully worked 351 cleavland which I removed from a drag car in Melbourne called "No Tubs" - formally known as "Uzi". This engine has completely been refreshed! I have also installed air-conditioning to keep the family comfortable on our hot aussie summer days. I have a Dominator stall converter and a strengthened C10 to handle gear changing (I know the movie car was manual but the auto offers a lot more longevity with the engine I am installing). Putting all this power to the ground will be through a ford 9 inch diff running 4:11 Richmond gears. The interior also features a MFP radio, blue revolving light, supercharger switch & a full blown Victorian Police siren. (And don't the kids just love it!!!)
