I own and run a repair shop my father had since 73. When I started working there, they had this old mustang sitting up there. It had been there for 10+ years, so it was kind of an icon to the place. I decided to fix it up. I have had nothing but joy in doing so. The only regret was not having any before pictures. You see, I did not look to restore the car originally, and so one thing lead to another. Now, the car I drive daily (yes, that is correct) is not at all what it had started out like. I have kept everything as original as I could. Although I have to admit, it does have a satilite and bluetooth radio, and runs a lot better, albeit faster. My next project is now going to be the interior. Although, with me, when I see what I like, I go for it, so I have no idea what it will look like a year from now.
