About my Galaxie 500

I've owned this LWG for over thirty years. Early evidence shows that it was originally owned by Mickey Thompson and driven by Butch leal. Recently the final documents were discovered showing the 'trail' from Ford to Tasca Ford, back to Ford, and then to Mickey Thompson in the summer of 63. I am the third documented owner of this ultra-LWG, weighing less than 3,400lbs. The car is close to the original, running condition it was in 63. The flat teardrop hood was modified by the second owner when he installed a SOHC. I have run a LR, TP, and soon a HR, in it. Thanks for looking, Rod.

That's an awesome piece of Ford history you own there Rod! Thanks for signing up and it's great to see some classic rides in the Reader's Rides section. Man, what that LWG must have been like with a Cammer in it!

I still say I was born in the wrong decade! LOL
