About my Thunderbird

My 1993 Tbird was ordered new in 92 as our family car. It was a 5.0 car, that had decent performance, and good looks. In 2002 with 190,000 miles on it. I decided replace it as the family car, and transition it into a weekend play car.

Now, after 6 years of work in my garage, it is a very serious play car. The engine is a fairly radical 393 stroker, with a Vortech YSi supercharger, fueled with E85. The drive train consist of a Lentech Strip Terminator trans, 3500 rpm stall converter, to a Detroit Locker, then custom axles.

Nice job on the 'Bird.  I like Mustangs, but its nice to see something different.  Limited hood clearance has held these cars back from being modidfied.  This may inspire some others.
